This intimate photograph captures the hands of a prophet
in a rare moment of repose. This picture was quietly taken
at a family wedding where President Gordon B. Hinckley
sat relaxed among family and friends with his favorite
cane in hand. Here is a study of hands that unselfishly
lifted and served so many people over so many years.

President Hinckley's heart and hands were divinely drawn
to those who lacked faith and hope. He instinctively
knew how to blend humor with inspiration in a way that
built bridges to hearts and governments here to fore
untouched. These are the hands that touched the lives
of millions by reaching across borders of diverse
countries, cultures and faiths. Hands that toiled in the
Lord's vineyard for over 75 years. Hands that
compassionately lifted and carried the work of the Savior
to a higher level of understanding and respect around the
world. Hands that became worn and holy as they so
worked.

This photo will quickly become a family treasure and a reminder that our beloved leader's actions can continue to inspire, urge and motivate us to be more Christ-like in our daily lives.

A portion of the cost will be contributed to the Perpetual Education Fund of the Church - a program that President Hinckley so wisely reinstituted and loved.
